The Lab System 84 Synthesizer is the first complete synthesizer system released by LA Circuits, as a complement to the Lab System Sequencer.

Housed within an 84HP (3U) aluminum enclosure, the system is made up of seven of our best modules forming a complete synth voice. Unique in sound and design, it is unlike any other system on the market.

Inspired by a need for travel, the system was designed with durability and portability in mind. It includes an internal switching power supply, and a 19V AC adapter, so you can plug it in and play.

The Lab System 84 Synthesizer is a fully analog modular synthesizer composed of seven carefully selected modules from our product line to create a comprehensive synth voice in analog Eurorack format.

  • Enclosure: The system is housed in our very own design for a portable anodized aluminum case, with option of black coating or natural.

  • Dimensions: One set of 3U by 84HP mounting rails, for standard Eurorack modules, and a depth of 7 inches.

  • Exterior: rectangular structure constructed by heavy duty 5.00 mm aluminum paneling, vintage style vinyl and nickel top handle, I/O power switch, CV input jack, 1/4” signal out, power cable connector for a 19V AC adapter.

  • Interior: proprietary switching power supply, power distribution board with eight 16-pin IDC headers, reinforced structure by steel “L” brackets.

The synthesizer boasts a sleek retro design with extensive functionality in a compact, portable form factor. It is the perfect “ready to go” system for touring musicians, studio pro’s and analog purists. Equally, it is a great starter for the musician just embarking on their modular journey.
